Misha's
incredible sculptures have been fascinating and delighting
collectors from around the world for over twenty years. Sometimes
humorous, other times serious, but somewhat familiar faces. Faces we
have seen or faces we know. Her award winning work continues to grow.
Misha's first bronze, "Hear My Words" is almost sold out as the second
bronze, "Captive Heart" was released early 2005.
Misha
transforms clay into haunting visions
of ancient and wise spirits from a time long forgotten. Her
captivating work embodies the dignity and proud tribal traditions of the
ancient people. From thirty two inch figures to life size
warriors, the faces tell stories of their painful heritage. They
speak with their eyes. Whispering ancient songs of healing, gathering
and hunting.
The
reflections of these dreams capture a moment, a vision of the past. Misha
sculpts not only the person, she sculpts the spirit.
" In my mind's eye I can see a face. As the clay comes to life in my hands
I can see the person and their story. My work is about a fleeting
glimpse into someone's life, a memory of a life's journey."
