CROW WARRIOR
Dressed in soft golden colored leathers, Crow Warrior stands 40” tall. His headdress is made up of over a hundred goose pointer feathers inserted in a cap and permanently attached. Beautiful turquoise nuggets are draped across his chest. He has a bone breast plate, hand beaded loomwork and a stone fetish necklace made of images of animal spirits revered by the Native people.
His fringed leather has been painstakingly twisted and painted with washes of turquoise color. He carries a medicine bag filled with sage and shards of pottery and a rawhide shield decorated with fox furs and authentic brass beads. Red fox furs drape over his shoulders, framing his weathered face in shades of grey, rust and rich brown.
Gazing off into the distance, his eyes capture the sadness and the pride as this warrior realizes that his era has ended. Standing tall on a burl wood base inlaid with turquoise, Crow Warrior by Misha is a magnificent example of the enduring spirit of the West.
